Abilities
Passive: I AM BIG! (Buff, Heal)
Each time Detona deals damage with his skills, he absorbs energy and enhances himself, gaining 1 stack of Robust for 10 seconds which increases his size and attributes. And every time it deals damage to a target, he inflicts 1 stack of Feast to the target. When the Feast gets 4 stacks, Detona will bite the target upon the next Basic Attack, dealing Physical Damage according to his Max HP and restoring HP. When Robust surpasses 10 stacks, Detona’s Basic Attack will now trample the target, where each Basic Attack inflicts 2 stacks of Feast on the target.
First Skill: So-Called Teamwork (AoE)
Detona spits contaminated oil in the fan-shaped area in front, dealing 75 / 100 / 125 / 150 / 175 / 200 (+8% Total HP) Physical Damage to enemies within the area and slowing them by 15% for 1 second. Meanwhile, Barats drops the firecracker onto the contaminated oil from his bag and ignites it, dealing 105 (+135% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies within the area. The area of effect of So-Called Teamwork will increase when Robust reaches 6, 11, 16, 21 stacks.
Second Skill: Missiles Expert (CC)
Bartas launches a missile to the designated area. Upon landing, a blast of flame spout out from the rear of the missile, dealing 300 / 330 / 360 / 390 / 420 / 450 (+125% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage to enemies in a straight line and pushing them towards Barat’s direction. This skill is certainly going to be fun to use. It is similar to Franco’s hook.
Ultimate Skill: Beast Roar (CC, AoE)
Detona roars skyward and generates a forcefield around himself for 5 seconds. Enemies that come in contact with the edge of the forcefield will be 300 / 500 / 700 (+100% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage and will be stunned for 1 second, while enemies within the forcefield take 60 (+20% Total Physical Attack) (+0.7% Total HP) Physical Damage continuously every 1 second and slowing them by 20%.
The skills are certainly unique in some matters, especially the second skill. The skill can throw/bring enemies towards the hero and not just one enemy but all of them that are within the impact area. This skill pretty much is like Franco’s hook or Kaja’s skill of getting enemies towards your allies (or, maybe like a Jawhead’s throw) but Barats’ skill can get every enemy hero in the area without actually going there. It may be the reason, Barats may become the new hero to get a ban in the draft pick.
The reason Barats is also considered as a tank hero is due to its passive. It gets stacks with each skill attack and can stack up to 25. While the stacks are increasing, it gets bigger and bigger and almost gets to the size of the Turtle. The size is not the only thing that is increasing, the physical defense and the magical defense are also increasing significantly and this is the very reason why Barts is considered as a semi tank along with the damaging CC skills.
The ultimate would be very useful in team fights and pretty annoying for the opponents. With the combination of the passive and the ultimate skill, Barats can become an annoying CC hero to play against. And if rotated with combinedly with a damage dealer, both can prove to be a formidable opponent.
